UXUA Casa Hotel & Spa - Trancoso

Integrated with nature and an exotic garden featuring a swimming pool, UXUA Casa Hotel & Spa is made with traditional techniques and local materials and offers peaceful and fully equipped holiday homes in the centre of Trancoso. Decorated in rustic style, with wooden elements, bright and natural colours,holiday homes feature lots of seating nooks, a living area with a flat-screen cable TV and a fully equipped kitchen. Spa facilities and a gym are available at an additional cost.

Guests can use a lounge area at Praia dos Nativos. The historic Quadrado Square is just next to the property, and local craft fairs can be found within walking distance. Hiking or kayaking excursion can be arranged in the vicinity.

Terravista Airport is located 7 km from the UXUA Casa Hotel & Spa. Porto Seguro Local Bus Station and Airport are at a distance of 38 km. Shuttle service is possible at a surcharge. Free parking is provided.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 12:00.

From May 20th to June 15th 2024 some UXUA houses and our common areas will be closed for restoration.
The work should not interfere guest’s experience at the houses that remain open but some services will not be available during these dates.
UXUA Beach Bar remains open and with reserved sofas exclusively for our guests.

One-Suite House - Estúdio UXUA. Estúdio features acres of space, sturdy antique furniture and rustic local accents. There is a lush greenery afforded by an indooroutdoor bathroom featuring a large vertical garden, sink carved from old tree trunks dug out of UXUA’s garden, double-wooden shower heads and one wall opening onto a spacious veranda and private garden. In addition, there are walk-in closets, mini-kitchen, private patio, and access to the healing waters of UXUAs green quartz pool. ;
One-Suite House – Quintal UXUA. This airy one-bedroom apartment appears cocooned in the sheltering arms of a mango tree. An open balcony with covered eating area and deep sofa overlooking UXUA’s garden and gleaming quartz pool. There is a bathroom with double shower heads and open views across the treetops. A mini-kitchen, walk-in closets and pristine canopy bed are available. ;
One-Suite House – Casa da Árvore UXUA. Casa da Árvore- this multilevel "tree house" is built from recycled wood and come complete with a traditional straw roof. The bedrooms porch serves as the living room which overlooks the canopy of the hotel garden trees, and includes a sofa, bar and hammock. The bathroom has double showers and allows access to the internal deckthere is a hot tub and shower-head carved from a tree trunk. On the ground floor of the house there is an open-air living room with a pebbled floor and rocking chairs. Free Wi-Fi is provided. ;
One-Suite House – Seu João UXUA. Seu João- Designed in the style of a traditional fishermans house, this home has a wall of sliding doors that open completely, revealing a lush garden and wooden deck with private pools. Also included is a private courtyard with an outdoor shower, a rustic-style pergola and sun loungers by the pool and a bathroom with an indoor garden and showers and sinks carved from tree trunks. Free Wi-Fi is provided. ;
One-Suite House – Seu Pedrinho UXUA. Seu Pedrinho- This vibrant, magenta-toned house has airy, well lit rooms, hardwood floors, a charming bar and an internal private garden with deck chairs and views of the historic Quadrado Square. The home also includes 2 bathrooms - one with double shower - and a spacious bedroom with a canopy bed. A large living room connects to the kitchen. Free Wi-Fi is provided. ;
Two-Suite House – Eugênia UXUA. Eugênia- Considered the propertys most luxurious home, this house is located amidst lush vegetation. It includes a master suite with large bathroom, a private pool, a spacious indooroutdoor kitchen with a private balcony and fruit trees, one of which grows through the roof of the house. Free Wi-Fi is provided. ;
Two-Suite House – Gulab Mahal UXUA. This house is a fusion of Portuguese and Southeast Asian, with a dash of native Bahian. Renovated but maintaining its charm, this house features stained-glass windows,a mezzanine meditation area, indooroutdoor kitchen, half bathroom and stunning views of Trancosos historic Quadrado. There is a shaded rustic table and chairs in front of the house. ;
Two-Suite House – Zé e Zilda UXUA. This traditional fishermans house facing the Quadrado features a fully equipped kitchen, an adjacent seating room and a bar. The rustic table in front of the house allows al fresco dining. There are two bedrooms – one on the second floor with its bathroom on the ground floor.rooms bear UXUAs trademark airiness and locally sourced home decor. Living room with half bathroom and bedrooms with en suite bathrooms ensure maximum privacy amid the housemates. ;
One-Suite House – Seu Irênio UXUA. Seu Irênio - Overlooking the historic Quadrado Square, this house offers a large living room that connects to the kitchen and bar. The bedroom includes a bathroom with a large soaking tub in an outdoor area that provides views of the sky. There is also a private pool in the garden. Free WiFi is provided. ;
One-Bedroom House - Terraco do Ceu UXUA. With an open floor-plan, this houses interior is appointed with custom furnishings by designer Wilbert Das and handmade objects produced by local artisans. A flat roof holds a deck with a swimming pool, sofas and a covered pergola offering views Trancoso and onto the Historic Quadrado, or through trees of the Atlantic rainforest that borders the mangroves. ;
One-Bedroom House - Cerâmica UXUA. With high ceilings and stained glass sliding doors, this holiday home features flat-screen TV, a cosy seating area and a rustic private bathroom. ;
Three-Bedroom House - Casa do Lago. With open-plan living areas surrounded by flowers and trees, this holiday home features a balcony, outdoor dining area and air conditioning. It is surrounded by a natural lake, with crystalline, mineral-water. ;
Two-Suite House – Casinha UXUA. The pool with a view is the standout feature of this chalet. Boasting a private entrance, this air-conditioned chalet features 1 living room, 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and a bath. In the well-fitted kitchen, guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven. The spacious chalet features a minibar, a tea and coffee maker, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, as well as garden views. The unit has 2 beds. ;

Three-Suite House – Casa Luz UXUA. Guests will have a special experience as the chalet features a pool with a view. This spacious chalet consists of 1 living room, 3 separate bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. Guests can make meals in the kitchen that is equipped with a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven.
